Pre-Region (3.14 Miles) 00:18:14, Place overall: 31, Place in age division: 31 | | 4 Mile Morning Run Mile Warmup Felt good first mile at a 5:27 but not very good miles 2-3. Hilly course (Cottonwood Complex), I got 31st place out of 192, and was the first non-varsity runner from any school but ours to cross the finish line. Seth and Brady almost caught me on the kick. Looking forward to the run next Saturday at Soldier Hollow. 2 mile cool down

Morning run with guys
8.5 miles to Purple Turtle and back, .5 Miles stride laps. |
| |
4 mile morning run
1.5 mile warmup, 7th north power run, 1.5 mile cooldown. did pretty good on the 2.15 mile power run, 12:20. its supposed to be about 85% of 3 mile race pace. |
| | Did a totally beast 12 mile run with the guys...average about 6:30 mile pace, one of the toughest runs I've ever done. Wasn't going to do a cooldown at night, but was so pumped from the BYU game that I went out for an easy 3 miles around the track. |

Well I'm going out for another 4 miles tonight probably...loosen things up.
Ran from AFHS to the mouth of the Canyon. past lone peak, on the golf course road. Nice, relaxed 6:45 pace on the way there, but hammered on the way back...around 6:10 mile pace for last 4.5. Still looking forward to the Soldier Hollow race on Saturday...i guess i'm racing JV so hoping to win the race. or at least top 3.

4 mile morning run.
Had to go with some JV kids for an indian run...a couple of them went pretty fast...but i wish i went with the varsity. I would have got a much better work out. with warmup and cooldown, it ended up being about 6 miles total. |

Wasatch Invitational-JV Boys (3.14 Miles) 00:18:45, Place overall: 5, Place in age division: 5 | | got 5th out of 221 runners! Was second, right behind kevin, at the 2 mile mark, but died on the downhill for some reason. i was also trying not to trip, it was pretty rocky. anyway, its the hilliest hardest course i've ever ran. including footlocker. but yeah i'm hoping to beat mike and nafe on friday at Provo Bulldog!
| |
did 5 1000m repeats...
3:16, 3:05, 3:08, 3:11, 3:16.
One of my best workouts yet! Thats about a 5:10 mile pace, btw. |
| | did cedar hills city hall...the long way. :P ugh it made my ankles so tired...when they're tired, they are vulnerable to injury. i need to be careful tomorrow...2man2mile. |
